Meet the tour at Bar Ruccio, Port of Sorrento, by 7:20am
Enjoy a boat tour along the Sorrentine coast to arrive on Capri
Take the minibus to the town centre for a guided tour
Enjoy some free time to explore Capri. Explore the picturesque Augustus Gardens, wander around the local shops or relax at one of the many open-air cafes
In the afternoon explore the dramatic cliffs and sea caves with a boat tour around the island before the trip back to Sorrento
Capri is recognised around the world for its drop-dead gorgeous views and awesome Italian cuisine. And you’ll get to experience its very best with this guided one-day tour that sets out to explore the entire island. On Capri, you’ll discover a plush assortment of restaurants, shopping boutiques and historical landmarks. Plus, if you’re lucky, it’s certainly possible to see a who’s who of celebrities walking down Capri’s much-loved streets.
Our tour begins in Sorrento, meeting near the marina. We’ll then head immediately to the port where you’ll enjoy a scenic boat tour to Capri. Admire the stunning Amalfi Coast from the water as we make our way to the famed isle.
Once we arrive on the island, we’ll take a bus from Marina Grande to La Piazzetta in the upper part of Capri. Enjoy a guided tour of the centre then explore on your own with some free time. You can head straight for the relaxing alfresco restaurants where you can sip down a coffee and enjoy the fresh island air. Or, discover the flowery Garden of Augustus and its botanical terraces offering stunning panoramic views of Marina Piccola on one side and the iconic Faraglioni Rocks on the other.
We’ll meet back at Marina Grande where we will jump aboard a boat for a cruise around the island to explore the dramatic cliffs and fascinating caves from the water including the Blue Grotto. Once you’re finished, we’ll conclude our tour by making the short journey back to Sorrento.
This one-day trip might have been short-lived, but Capri’s remarkable natural beauty and luxurious atmosphere is something you won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
