Please read the following important information to avoid disappointment on the tour
The minimum age for this tour is 13 years (13 – 17 years can ride as a passenger only and cannot operate their own Vespa).
A valid driving licence is required to drive the Vespa (although you do not need a motorcycle licence)
If you are not comfortable riding on your own Vespa you can choose to travel with our expert guides or another passenger.
If after you have done a test ride we consider that for your safety it is better that you do not ride alone, you may need to ride with another participant, the guide, or continue the tour on the backup minivan. No refunds will be given in such cases. Our first priority is your safety.
Third party insurance for civil liability is included in the price of the tour. You will be given an option to subscribe to additional insurance against vehicle damages on the day of your tour.
The tour will not be cancelled due to rain. We will do our best to proceed with the tour, avoiding the rain and possibly carrying out the tour with our minivan until and if the rain stops and street conditions will guarantee a safe ride. If it does not stop raining, the entire tour will be conducted in the safety and comfort of our minivan. In this case, there will be no refunds.

Meet your guide at Piazza Mentana by 2:10pm
Departing from Florence, we make our way the rolling hills of Chianti
A safety orientation and demonstration led by a professional to get you on board your vespa
Hop aboard your vespa to explore the charming roads of Tuscany and soak up the lush hillside views
Visit a famous winery in the Chianti region - explore its cellars and learn the secrets of production
Arrive at our second winery to be greeted with a mouthwatering Tuscan style meal, paired with local wine and freshly made olive oil
Experience the romance of Italy as our afternoon Vespa tour offers you an incredible chance to delve into the country’s amazing culture and feel what it’s like to cruise through the picturesque sun-drenched countryside. Suitable for both new and experienced scooter riders, this small group tour sets out to offer you a different perspective on Italy and its dreamy possibilities.
Departing from Florence’s bustling streets by coach, we’ll make the drive through a variety of breathtaking landscapes as we arrive in the charming winemaking region of Chianti hills. Surrounded by fresh country air and remarkable vistas, it’s the ideal place to set off on our Vespa adventure.
But before we do, every attendee of our tour will take part in a quick orientation session to make sure that everyone is comfortable riding the scooters on Tuscany’s windy roads. A professional guide will be there to show you how to operate the scooters safely, while there’s also a short driving test held within an enclosed environment.
Once everyone is ready to depart, we’ll climb aboard our Vespas and head off to seek out the region’s most stunning collection of wineries, olive plantations, ancient villages and panoramic views. Fortunately, Chianti features these in abundance, as we make regular stops along the road to snap some great photos so that you can remember these places forever.
One of the major stops on this journey is a visit to a leading Chianti winery, which has built a reputation as one of the absolute best in the region. The estate has made the most of Chianti’s 300-year-long history of winemaking, with the grapes produced here being simply wonderful. Throughout our stay, you’ll take a tour of the cellar, plus get to learn some of the secrets behind their special vino.
Having finished our first winery, it’s time to head to another. While our second winery might be a little bit smaller, it’s no less impressive as the rich variety of wines here are bound to impress. You’ll be happy to know that you’ll get to sample some of the best as we sit down for a Tuscan-style meal that includes wine and locally produced olive oil.
