Italy has everything from seaside towns to ancient cities.

Italy is one of the most beautiful countries in the world with so many places to see. We recommend travelling earlier in the morning or end of the day to maximise your time in each city!

Here’s one of many ways to see Italy in 10 days.

1 day in Venice

Venice has a rich history, and you can learn a lot about it at Doge’s Palace. Also check out Royal Palace, Museo Archeologico, and Nazionale. You could also do a Venice island tour and see Murano, Burano, and Torcello.

If you can, do the morning or afternoon Gondola 30 minute tour around the canals!

2 days in Tuscany (Florence)

With so much to see in Florence, you can spend a day exploring the highlights. Going to the Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, Florence Cathedral, and Brunelleschi’s Dome. You’ll also need to make a visit to Accademia Gallery to see the famous Michelangelo’s David statue!

A great way to explore more of Tuscany is going on a day tour. You’ll leave from Florence and head to Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, and Chianti.

2 days in Rome and Vatican City

Rome and Vatican City are beautiful places where you can spend two days exploring.

Rome has incredible must visit places like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, Roman Forum, and much more. The city also has museums you can explore to learn more about the history of Rome.

In Vatican City, you will only need a few hours to half a day to explore and see the main highlights. When you’re in Vatican City you can see St Peter’s Basilica and St Peter’s Square. You can then see the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel to appreciate famous artwork by Raphael, da Vinci, Michelangelo, and many more.

2 days in Naples and Amalfi Coast

Having pizza is a must when in Naples as the first ever pizza was made here! Naples has royal palaces, castles, ruins, and museums you can visit. You’ll find yourself getting lost among the colour buildings.

Spend a day and visit some of the most beautiful towns on the Amalfi Coast tour! You’ll visit the picturesque towns of Positano, Amalfi Coast, and Ravello.

3 days in Sorrento, Capri, and Pompeii

Sorrento has incredible views, the finest restaurants, and fantastic attractions. You can spend the day roaming the narrow streets and alleyways. Make sure you see the Duomo and the Museum Bottega della Tarsia Lignea.

When in Sorrento, do a quick day trip over to Capri. Catch a boat to the gorgeous island and explore attractions like Augustus Gardens, and Blue Grotto, and see the local shops and cafes.

Do another day trip and explore the lost city of Pompeii. You’ll have a tour guide who’ll teach you the history of Pompeii and how the citizens used to live in what was once a thriving town.

You’ll also climb the volcano, Mount Vesuvius, which destroyed Pompeii in 79 A.D.

10 days in Italy sounds long enough at first, but there is just so much you can do in this beautiful European country.

You’ll be itching to come back as soon as your trip is over!
